Well the summer is just about over so this may be the last good month for a good mixture of images. I hope the winter comes up with some good ones to keep us all interested.
A collection of pictures from around London this collection is in its early stages and should become larger as time goes by.
I would like to think that I can get some idea of better locations and also more different operators. If anyone can be of help please contact me via the leave a message.
A collection of images taken mostly in Scarborough but will include other locations when visited. I would like to thank everyone who knows me for the info that is passed between us.
I am missing some details of a few coaches in this months list if anyone can help it would be fantastic. Just send them to me via the get intouch section.
A local Community Transport Charity based in Scarborough. We operate a fleet of eight minibus able to carry Elderley passengers and people with problems getting in and out of cars and the usual public transport. A super service for the people of Scarborough.
All being well it is my intention to build a large folder full of East Yorkshire Motor Services Buses and Coaches from all of the companies operating areas. Scarborough Bridlington Hull and Driffield.
14th February 2009 saw the opening of two new Park & Ride sites in Scarborough Filey Road served by service 165 and Seamer Road served by service 64. Here we have a collection of images taken on the first morning of the service. I will also be adding any images taken of the Park&Ride from this day onwards.
The traffic problems on Seamer Road are causing the route 64 service to run late most of the time which is very frustrating according to the drivers. Today 17th February 2009 whilst moving along St Thomas Street 364 was involed in a slight Road Traffic accident ripping the plastic covering off a wing mirror of a car. I would just like to add that this was no fault of the young driver but of that of a driver of a Glazing van who was pushing his luck and squeezing in when not enough room was available. No damage to the bus at all but was taken out of service for an inspection.
I had no plans to go out at all today and then the phone rang. A mate asking me if I would like a ride on the MoorsBus £2 well what can you say. I got up and sorted and on my way. Well worth it too except weather not upto much at all. The pictures show the day.
Hello everyone and welcome to Bus&Coach Digital images 2008. This fotopic site will build up from month to month depending on other engagements.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like any images for your own use. I use a NIkon D2H and a Nikon D100 and for the days that I am at work I use a Nikon Coolpix S52c a super little pocket camera with 9 million pixels.
Living in Scarborough East Yorkshire Motor Services get a good coverage with a trip to Hull from time to time too. The Yorkshire Coast gets many visitors in the summer so the amount of coaches that visit grows which makes the photographic side of the hobby very interesting indeed.
From time to time I find getting the operators info etc a little problematic so if anyone can help fill in the gaps it would be a great help to me. I can be contacted by the leave a message tab.
